Challenged
Outdoorsmen of America - Northeast Texas Outdoors Chapter held it's 4th Annual
whitetail hunt for youth. A great time was had by all as evidenced by the smiling
faces. Dylan Bell of Tatum took a 4-1/2 year old
104 lb doe on Saturday Morning. The weather was wet with a total of almost 4 inches
of rain during the weekend hunt. The youth were determined to take their deer
through it all and braved the wet conditions. A total of 30 volunteers and officers
of COA-NETO and 4 US Army Corps of Engineer personnel supported 17 hunters and
20 parents/grandparents/guardians on this 2 day hunt!
COA-NETO
thanks United States Army Corps of Engineers for their partnership and support
during our whitetail hunts. USACOE provides the properties, some equipment, and
leadership. Without their involvement and support these hunts would not be possible.
