Challenged Outdoorsmen of America- Northeast Texas Outdoors Chapter

The 2009 Challenged Adult Persons Fishing Derby for 2009 took place June 13, 2009. 16 folks fished and caught 16 large channel catfish. Below are photos from the event and it is evident from the smiles that it was a complete success. The hunt included 10 guardians and 15 volunteers for a total of 41 people involved in this event! We saw old friends and made new ones! Thank you Brian Ballard and family, all the volunteers and sponsors that made this fishing derby a great success. Your efforts go above and beyond. Several folks went home with lots of catfish filets. These fish averaged over 2 lbs each with some going close to 5 lbs. Check out the smiles and thumbs up in the closing photos!!!!!!!!
